We’re delighted to share that The Melody Nest is our brand-new venture, designed especially for younger children, group classes, and community music-making. 🎶🐦

Based at Compass Church, Wellingborough, The Melody Nest offers a warm and welcoming space where families and community groups can explore music together in a fun, creative, and faith-filled environment.

✨ Don’t worry, we’re still the same team you know and trust at GC Music & Arts Academy. The Melody Nest is our sister company, created to focus on the early years and community side of music-making including for those with special needs and on alternative pathways, while GC Music & Arts continues to provide one-to-one lessons, exam preparation, and performance training for all ages.

🎉 We’ve been a little quiet lately, but for a very exciting reason… We’re thrilled to finally share what we’ve been working on — a brand new sister company to GC Music Academy: The Melody Nest! 🐣🎶

Don’t worry, GC Music Academy isn’t going anywhere — we’re simply growing! We’re expanding into a brand new building where we’ll be offering group lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele, and singing, along with community events and music groups for all ages.

To kick things off, we’re launching some fun summer holiday piano camps for the little ones! ☀️🎹

🌟🎹 MEET GENE 🎹🌟

Gene founded GC music Academy back in 2012 after gaining experience teaching for another music school.

Since then Gene has taught over 500 students on piano, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute and drums and has even been known to teach a few singing lessons too 😉

With 100% pass rate for exams through trinity, rock school and ABRSM, Gene’s teaching skills really have gone from strength to strength.

Along the way, he’s gained a first class honours degree in Popular Music and Worship as well!

Did you know? Gene has toured Europe playing keys for Rusti Steel and The Star Tones and has recorded albums for many rock and roll and swing bands as well as appearing on BBC Radio 2s Live with Mark Lamar.

In his spare time you can find Gene dreaming about playing badminton. Dreaming because in reality he’s sleeping on the sofa 😂
