English Tutor Mrs H 1-2-1, 6-16. Advanced DBS; senior teacher; 16+yrs experience in mainstream & special ed. Well-known; highly regarded.

Additional services: Primary maths; SATs; 11+; GCSE prep - Eng/Maths; FE HPQ; proof-reading… Real learning generally starts with re-building your child’s confidence in their own ability to do well and become a proud learner. All my lovelies grow quickly to believe in their very own “I can!” attitude! I love their mistakes - every single one of them opens a little door to a fabulous learning opportunity! We sometimes draw, cook, build, chat (a lot!) to make learning and progress fun. I’m genuinely interested in who they are too and try to incorporate their hobbies and interests into their learning. Watch your child start to sit up straight, with their proud shoulders back while they become great readers, super questioners, interesting writers and fantastic speakers! (They’ll achieve higher in school’s assessments too!)
