Today we had an amazing time celebrating our preschool children. Our graduation party was a success and we are so proud of how far all the children have come! They have all grown with such confidence and Knowledge and are so ready for their next chapter. ❤️

We wish all the children very best and we will for sure miss them all! 🥺

A few shoutouts are needed….

The Chantry Centre for allowing us to use their hall for the party and catering to every need.

Rosie Moments Photography for capturing special moments throughout the graduation.

All the parents for donating food for the children

And a HUGE shoutout to all the staff at hopton playgroup.

Chanelle and Kayleigh have had the best first year EVER and we can’t wait for more to come! 🙌🏼

⚠️ Heatwave Alert for Next Week ⚠️

With temperatures set to rise across the UK next week, we’d like to remind all parents and carers to take extra care in the hot weather, especially with our youngest children.

☀️ UV levels are expected to be very high, meaning children can burn even when temperatures don’t feel extremely hot. Protecting their skin is essential.

👕 Dress children in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.
🧢 Please send your child with a sun hat every day.
🧴 Apply a long-lasting sunscreen before arriving at preschool and have this available in their bags with their name on.
💧 Ensure your child has a named water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout the day.
🌳 We will be making use of shaded areas and adapting outdoor activities to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

Young children can become overheated very quickly, so it’s important that we all work together to help them stay cool.

The children of Hopton house have worked hard to decorate their dogs for this event,
The hungry caterpillar for our playgroup children and Football teams for our BC and OOSC all chosen and designed by your children 🥰
So why not take a walk around Hopton tomorrow and see if you can find Rainbow and Champion the Hopton dogs. 😁
