🌟 TWO WEEKS TO GO! 🌟

Just two weeks until we get to welcome our little shining stars back through the doors and meet some brand-new faces ready to begin their journey with us! 💜

We hope you’re all having a safe and fun-filled summer. We know our children will come back having changed in so many ways - a little taller, with new interests, new skills and plenty to show us! 🥰

We also know the summer holidays aren’t always easy. Alongside the lovely moments can come some really challenging ones too, so hang in there, super families. You’re doing an amazing job.💜

We can’t wait to have our school family back together again.

As we head into our very last day of this incredible school year tomorrow, we've been taking a moment to look back on the journey that has brought us here.

What a year it has been.

This time last year, we were preparing to open our doors with a vision, a dream and a hope that we could create something truly special. Never did we imagine the school we would build, the community we would become, or the impact our little people would have on all of us.

We've celebrated first words, first friendships, first steps towards independence and achievements that once felt impossible. Every smile, every breakthrough and every moment of courage has reminded us exactly why Trimdon Hill exists.

To our amazing families, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for believing in our vision and for becoming such an important part of our school family. We couldn't have done this without you.

To our incredible children, you are the heartbeat of everything we do. Your resilience, determination, kindness and unique personalities make every single day an adventure. You have taught us just as much as we could ever hope to teach you.

And to our phenomenal staff team, thank you for giving your all, every single day. Your care, compassion and unwavering belief in every child is what makes Trimdon Hill shine.

As we close the chapter on our very first year, we do so with hearts full of pride and excitement for everything still to come.

🌟 EFL of the Week 🌟

This week's EFL goes to C! 💛

Once upon a time, writing felt really scary. Picking up a pencil often ended in tears, and putting pen to paper seemed like an impossible challenge.

Fast forward to today... look at you now! ✨

Not only are you proud of your beautiful handwriting, but you're also confidently sharing your writing with other classes and showing everyone just how far you've come.

And do you know what? You're absolutely right to be proud...

You are quickly becoming our school SUPER WRITER! 🦸✍️

This was one of those days that reminds us why every tiny step matters. 🧸💛

Our Teddy Bears' Picnic wasn't just a picnic... it was a celebration of every child's journey.

For many of our children, there was a time when school felt scarily challenging. Some found being around other children too overwhelming..Some found it difficult to join in with activities. Some didn't yet have a way to tell the world what they wanted, needed or felt.

Today, they laughed together. They played together. They shared food, explored, communicated in their own incredible ways, and celebrated alongside their families and friends.

To many people, it might have looked like a lovely afternoon in the sunshine.

To us, it was so much more.

It was months and years of trust, patience, teamwork and unwavering belief coming to life. It was children feeling safe enough to be themselves. It was confidence growing, friendships forming, voices being found and families making memories together.

There wasn't a single "perfect" moment at this picnic... there were hundreds of them. Every smile, every shared toy, every cuddle with a teddy, every wave, every laugh and every brave step deserved celebrating.

Thank you to our amazing families for joining us and for trusting us to be part of your child's journey. Your support, encouragement and partnership make moments like today possible.

Our hearts are so full. Today wasn't just a teddy bears' picnic.

It was proof that when children feel safe, understood and truly believed in... they SHINE. ✨🧸💛

This week's EFL of the Week doesn't go to one... it goes to our incredible Trimdon Hill staff team. 💙

After nearly a year since we opened our doors, this week we welcomed visitors into our school as well as lots of activities during one of the hottest weeks of the year and at one of the busiest times in the school calendar. Every single member of staff showed exactly what makes Trimdon Hill such a special place.

Our staff team is why Trimdon Hill truly SHINES. ⭐

H, your confidence has grown beyond what anyone could have imagined. You are always ready to help others, share your kindness, and go above and beyond, especially when we have visitors, proudly showing them everything that makes Trimdon Hill so special.

🌳 Lily Class Community Visits - Personal Development 🌳

Lily Class head out into our local community for one of their favourite activities, a visit to the park! 💚

These regular outings are about so much more than having fun. They provide meaningful opportunities to develop communication, independence, social interaction and confidence in real-life situations. From taking turns on the equipment and exploring the natural environment to practising road safety, making choices and building relationships, every visit is packed with learning.

Our children love the freedom to explore, move, discover and connect with the world around them. Watching their confidence grow week after week is wonderful, and these experiences play such an important role in helping them develop the skills they need beyond the classroom.

At Trimdon Hill, we believe some of the most valuable learning happens in the community, where children can apply their skills in meaningful and authentic ways.

Two very special reasons to celebrate at Trimdon Hill! 💛✨

A huge congratulations to Amy on the early arrival of her beautiful baby girl! We are absolutely thrilled for you and your family as you begin this wonderful new chapter together. We can't wait to meet your precious little one. 👶💕

Today we also wished Jenny (making it all the way to 38weeks pregnant at work! 🤯) lots of love and luck as she begins her maternity leave, eagerly awaiting the arrival of her own little bundle of joy. We hope these next few weeks are filled with excitement, rest and precious moments before your newest adventure begins. 🤍

We are already missing you both around school, but our hearts are so full knowing that the Trimdon Hill family is growing in the most wonderful way. We can't wait to welcome our newest Trimdon Hill babies into the team! 💛🌟
