Weapon transitions between rifle and pistol must be fluid especially if you have a problem or stoppage with your rifle. You must be able to continue with the engagement with your pistol.
Pistol proficiency is a vital skill during CQB engagements.

Another excellent 2 days of training for our latest Advanced Operators Course.
This course takes individuals through the full spectrum of Weapon Handling Skills (on both the rifle and pistol),Firing Positions, Snap and Instinctive Shooting,Forwards and Lateral Movement, Patrolling, Contact Drills and Weapon Transitions.
All of the techniques are based around a Close Quarters Battle (CQB) scenario. We take people who have no previous experience of weapons or tactics at all, right through to former members of the armed forces and police armed response.
Our training courses are conducted under the expert tuition of our team and in the safest of settings.
Our latest attendee confirmed what we already knew when he stated that he had searched the internet high and low and we are the ONLY company in the country who offer this type and level of training.

Here our students work collectively to achieve the aim, with the ethos being ‘no one gets left behind’.

The stretcher race. A great team building event for our KS2 students.
Firstly they conducted some first aid training on dealing with unconscious casualties who are breathing and not breathing. Placing casualties in the recovery position or conducting CPR is essential knowledge and MUST be taught to all school children and adults. It will save lives.
The students then built improvised stretchers and raced against each other.
Outstanding work by everyone and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Another superb week completed with students from St Mary’s RC School Newton Aycliffe. Over 95 KS2 students from years 3,4,5 and 6 spent the week with us as they continue their Path For Life outdoor education programme.
We designed this programme around the 4 elements of survival: Protection, Location, Acquisition and Navigation or as we say PLAN.
Together they completed safe use of knives, shelter building, fire lighting, ground to air rescue signals, water sourcing and purification, first aid training including building improvised stretchers. They even finished with a casualty evacuation exercise.
And as a treat for all of their hard work they even got to roast marshmallows.
