✏️Black History Month✏️

Throughout October we will be running a very exciting competition within school. We are inviting all children to design their own poster on an influential black person of their choice. Please bring your completed posters into school and pass them on to Miss Whalen no later than Monday October 19th. Prizes will be available for the winning poster within each key stage. We can’t wait to see your finished designs!

This morning Nursery recieved a special letter from the Gingerbread man, he had gone to holiday to France. 🇫🇷
We were very excited to try some yummy French treats, learn about different landmarks in France and have a go at using the blocks and playdough to create our very own Eiffel Towers.

We wonder where the Gingerbread Man might visit next?

We are pleased to announce that we are taking part in the Cauliflower Cards Christmas project again this year. With this, your child's artwork can be made into Christmas cards, mugs, wrapping paper, gift labels and even fun playing cards!

Over the last three years, we have raised over £1000 which has been used to fund artist visits to support and enrich our art curriculum in school. Every order will provide school with a small commission to support the arts at Neville's Cross.

All of our classes have been busy making their cards over the last few weeks and you should now have your child's order form with their artwork attached.

If you choose to make an order online, please ensure that your child's artwork form is returned to school by Thursday 1st October. Class teachers will collect them in to send them off together.

This is a very quick turnaround so please send them in asap.

We really appreciate your continued support!

Please follow this link to demonstrate how to make an order using your child's form : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7ACsObwql4

🍁Autumn in Lambton🍁

Autumn has arrived in Lambton Class! What a wonderful morning we have had talking about this new season. We have spent time making some delicious pumpkin coffees in the Autumn Cafe and making some pumpkin pies in the play doh area. We have even been practicing our mark making taking orders. Well done Lambton Class!
