First ever YouTube video is now up!
It is the first episode in my Pool Fundamentals series, where I tackle the very basics of technique when playing English 8-ball pool.
I did this episode in 40 minutes without a script and without a plan in place so it was basically winged from the get go. This is also one of the very first times I’ve tried to edit something together in this way.
This, for all intents and purposes, is a pilot episode so please bare that in mind and if you do find yourselves with 10 minutes-ish, watch, comment, like and subscribe. I’m also happy to receive constructive feedback on how to improve.
I have episode two filmed, which is already much stronger as the lessons I learned from the first were incredibly helpful. Thanks!

Fun little trickshot to try out. Did it with two hands successfully twice in a row so thought I’d try it with one!
Big fan of this beginner drill which I coined "Through The Gates". It teaches about consideration; that you must consider where you strike the ball - straight through the white, above the middle - and with just enough pace to reach the desired spot, but also not too much to go too far. It is simple enough but it is a drill that takes patience to learn how the white reacts to your hit and how the white reacts on the cloth you're playing on
