It was fun in the sun at our gardening session today! Lots of weeds removed (it turns out they like the sun as well!) and the beds are looking beautiful!

Yesterday was the annual St Chad’s pilgrimage/trip to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the sun shone on us. Some of us took the opportunity to cross to the island by foot across the sand as pilgrims have for centuries- a very special experience. Such a wonderful place full of history and significance for the English Church, and a great place to spot seals as well!
