We welcome hearing your thoughts and experiences and remind everyone that our general philosophy is one of acceptance and replying to posts in a non-judgemental way. 🦷💙 Promoting Oral Health Across Our Nursery! 🪥

We love making oral health fun and engaging for our children! 😁 Throughout the nursery, we have lots of activities, stories and conversations about looking after our teeth.

Our Nursery-to-Home Bags also help children share their learning with their families at home. 🎒🏡

Our Bumble children have been enjoying a fun marble mark-making activity!

The children used their pens to push a marble across the paper, creating their own unique lines, patterns and marks. They loved watching the marble move and seeing how their movements created different effects! 🌈

This activity supports so many areas of development, including fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and control. It also encourages children to explore cause and effect, as they discover that the way they push the marble changes the marks it makes.

Most importantly, the children were able to explore, experiment and be creative, all while having lots of fun! 💛🐝

🐝🌟Congratulations🐝🌟

We wanted to share with all of our families here at Busy Bees that our lovely apprentice Faith from the Honey room has now qualified as an Early Years Practitioner. We are always very proud of our apprentices and we appreciate how dedicated they are to building their future in childcare and education. Apprenticeships are something we greatly value at nursery as it enables us to nurture homegrown staff.

A huge well done to Faith we are so proud of you.

🐝❤️Building Relationships - our weekly visits to the care home continue ❤️🐝

We’re so excited to be continuing our lovely visits to the care home once a week, giving our children the opportunity to spend time with the residents, build special connections and share lots of smiles, laughter and precious moments together.

There’s something truly special about bringing the generations together, and we love seeing the friendships blossom week after week. 💕👵👴👶

🔨 Upstairs Bumble Room – Getting Ready for Woodwork! 🪵

Our Upstairs Bumble children have been busy preparing for some exciting woodwork activities! They’ve been practising their hammering skills using large fruit, golf tees and hammers, developing their hand-eye coordination, control and concentration. 🔨

It’s been wonderful to see them carefully exploring how to hold and use the tools safely, building confidence and getting ready for the real thing!

We can’t wait to see what they create when our woodwork begins! 🪵💛🐝

✨🐝Congratulations!✨🐝

We wanted to share with all of our families here at Busy Bees that our lovely apprentice Lucy from the Ladybird room has now qualified as an Early Years Practitioner with a distinction.

We are always very proud of our apprentices and we appreciate how dedicated they are to building their future in childcare and education.

Apprenticeships are something we greatly value at nursery as it enables us to nurture homegrown staff.

A huge well done to Lucy we are so proud of you.
