The Trevs LGBT Bar Night will be making its return on November 18th!

Hey hey everyone! You may have noticed that this page has died a slow and painful death over the summer, which is because Trevs currently doesn't have an LGBT+ rep.

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN and close THIS SUNDAY - if you're thinking about applying (which I'd totally recommend), want to know more about what the role involves or need help applying, please feel free to message me (Milo Anderson on FB messenger, [email protected]).

It’s time for the T(ea)! Here’s a post from the wonderful Fred Hook about some upcoming Trans-focussed events (This Friday) :

Hello everyone, and a special hello to my fellow trans folks! I'm trying something new and hosting a kind of specialised drop-in I'm calling Trans Chats.
I'll be holding this in the Welfare Room on Friday, May 6th, from 3-4pm (and will be holding more if people like it). It'll be a place for trans people to come together, chat over some tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits, and meet other trans people in a safe space.

Hey! The position of LGBT+ rep is open for this term and next year! It’s a really chill role, which mainly involves:

-Running one 1-hour welfare dropin a week

-Organising the occasional Trevs (or joint with other colleges) LGBT+ event; these are mainly the bar nights, which are a lot of fun to organise.

-Running this FB page

-Working with the JCR and college staff to make Trevs a more welcoming place for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community.

I’d definitely recommend applying, it’s a rewarding role and a great way to get involved with the JCR. If you’ve got any questions, please drop me a message or email me [email protected]:)

It's LGBT+ History month, and there's lots of events to look forward to:

- 7pm 10th February: Charity Dinner (Followed by bar night, keep an eye out for a further post!)

- 2-4pm 24th February: Crafternoon

- 8pm 27th February: Q***r Pub Quiz

- Guest Speaker: TBC (but we can guarantee it won't be Rod Liddle)
