As we look ahead to the new school year, we'd like to share a gentle reminder about our school uniform expectations for September.

At Burnhope Primary School, we believe our school uniform is about much more than what our children wear. It helps everyone feel part of our school family, promotes a sense of belonging and pride, and ensures all children start each day ready to learn without worrying about what they're wearing.

Over the summer holidays, many families will be buying new uniform, so we hope this reminder is helpful when you're getting everything ready for September. Thank you, as always, for your continued support in helping our children arrive at school looking smart, feeling confident and ready for a fantastic year of learning.

We are hoping to have a uniform exchange running next week from the community centre. It will be open the same times as the food pantry:

Monday 12.30 until 1.30pm
Thursday 11.30 until 1.30pm

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible journey it's been at Burnhope Primary School. From unforgettable residentials in London and Ford Castle, to exciting trips to Beamish, The Story, and the Centre for Life, our children have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, curiosity and smiles. We've celebrated success in sporting events, shared special moments together at St John's Church, and enjoyed wonderful occasions such as World Book Day and Children in Need—creating memories that will last a lifetime.

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our amazing parents and families, our dedicated governors, and our incredible staff, who work tirelessly to make Burnhope such a special place to learn and grow.

Thank you for everything you do. We wish all of our children and families a brilliant, relaxing and safe summer holiday. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September for another fun-filled, exciting and educational year together!
