***South Shields Wizards***
WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT OF FOOTBALL IN THE SUN ☀️💙🧙♀️⚽️
Another absolutely brilliant Wednesday night with our South Shields Football Wizards at Harton Academy,
South Shields! ⚽️👏
What a fantastic turnout once again, with loads of children enjoying their football, working hard, learning new skills and, most importantly, having FUN! 😁⚽️
The energy, enthusiasm and smiles were absolutely brilliant throughout the evening, and it was great to see all our Wizards getting stuck into their group stations! SIX different stations to challenge and develop our Wizards:
⚽️🪄 SIX STATIONS – LOADS OF FOOTBALL – PLENTY OF WIZARDS MAGIC! 🪄⚽️
🔵 OUR YOUNGER WIZARDS
⚽️ JOSH & JAMIE – MATCHES STATION 🥅
Plenty of football action, teamwork, attacking, defending, decision-making and opportunities for the children to express themselves in matches!
🔥 GUSTAVO – 1v1 ATTACKING MOVES IN THE LANES
Working on confidence on the ball, close control, changes of direction, attacking skills and being brave on the ball
🛡️ CHRIS BREW – BALL MASTERY UNDER PRESSURE
A fantastic station challenging the children to protect the ball, keep it close, use their bodies to shield and develop their awareness of what's happening around them.
Checking those wing mirrors 👀, getting their arms out, using their backside to protect the ball and finding ways to escape tight areas under pressure!
🔵 OUR OLDER WIZARDS
🔥 JULIO ARCA – 1v1 ATTACKING MOVES IN THE LANES
Developing attacking confidence, quick feet, changes of pace, skills and the ability to beat opponents in 1v1 situations! ⚡️⚽️
⚽️ STEVEN & KANE – MATCHES STATION attacking and defending two goals - Loads of competitive football, teamwork, attacking and defending, with the children putting their skills into practice in match situations! 👏
🚀 NEIL – LIGHTNING SHOOTING & 1v1 ATTACKING & DEFENDING
Plenty of excitement in front of goal, working on quick reactions, finishing, shooting technique and having the confidence to take opportunities!
Then transition to defender once got their shot away 🥅🔥
👏 A MASSIVE WELL DONE TO ALL OUR COACHES AND CHILDREN!
What a brilliant mix of football activities, helping the children improve their skills, develop confidence, make decisions and enjoy every minute of their football!
