Shining Stars Nursery

We had an amazing week last week as we planned lots of exciting experiences for the children. ⭐️🌟

Our week started off with a trip to The Italian Farmhouse for a delicious pizza and ice cream! 🍕

Then we had a very special visit from Crazy Creatures who brought some wonderful creatures for the children to handle and learn about.🐍

As the week got hotter we had a visit to the local park for a play and picnic. By Thursday we were ready for a well deserved treat from the ice cream van! Finishing off on Friday with a Shining Stars sports day with ice pops! ☀️🍦

A very busy start to the year as we have celebrated Valentine’s Day, Pancake Day and lots of fun experiences as we transition from Winter into Spring.

The children have enjoyed making bird feeders, Valentine’s cakes, making yummy pancakes and an exciting outing to look for signs of Spring! ❤️🌼🐦‍⬛

September may seem a long time away, but now is a perfect time to start helping get your child ready for school.

We understand that all children develop at their own pace, and that we’re all learning from birth. When it’s time to start school, some children will need more help than others.

There are key skills that schools expect children to be learning before their first day. Practising these will make your child’s journey to Reception as positive as possible and help them to feel confident at school.
