Class 2 (and some year 5’s) have been trying to keep cool in the shade on the field, which was cooler than our classroom! We used all natural materials to create a tree scene and were pleased with the results.

Today we celebrated all those that received the Sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time last week.
📖Mission Monday📖
Every Monday, we focus on a piece of scripture and consider how it relates to our daily lives in modern society.
📖 Gospel: Matthew 10:31
💬 “So do not fear; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
🙏 Reflection:
Jesus reassures His disciples that they are deeply known and valued by God. This week, we reflect on our worth and the courage that comes from knowing we are loved.
🕊️ Catholic Social Teaching – Human Dignity:
CST teaches that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent worth. Jesus’ words affirm that our dignity is not earned—it is given and must be protected.
🇬🇧 British Value – Mutual Respect & Individual Liberty:
Respecting others begins with recognising their value. Liberty includes the freedom to live confidently, knowing we are cherished and capable of making meaningful choices.
💖 Trust Virtue – Self-Belief:
Jesus’ message encourages self-belief. When students understand their worth, they are empowered to act with confidence, kindness, and purpose.
📿 Prayer:
Lord, help us to remember our worth in Your eyes. May we live with courage and treat others with the same love and respect You show us. Amen.
