Our Caterpillar Class had a fantastic time on their hands-on farm visit! The children loved meeting all of the wonderful animals and had the opportunity to feed, stroke, and even handle them, creating some truly special memories.

The biggest hit of the day was the farm dog, who was incredibly gentle, well-behaved, and absolutely loved all the cuddles from the children. 🐶❤️

Our children have been having a wonderful time in our school role play area! 📚🎒

From taking the register and practising their phonics to trying on their new school uniforms, they've been busy exploring what school life is all about. These fun, hands-on experiences help build confidence, encourage independence, and make the transition to Reception feel exciting and familiar.

We're so proud of how enthusiastically they've embraced their new roles as "big school" children! 🌟

☀️ Important Notice – Nursery Sports Day Cancelled ☀️

Due to the forecast of very hot weather, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Nursery Sports Day.

The health, safety, and wellbeing of our children are always our top priority, and we feel it would not be safe for them to take part in outdoor activities in the expected temperatures.
We know many children and families were looking forward to the event, and we share your disappointment.

⚽🌍 World Cup fever has officially arrived 🌍⚽

The children had a fantastic time creating and playing their very own tabletop football game using paint and wooden toys. They showed great creativity by choosing their team names, which included Team England, Arsenal, Dinosaurs, Tomatoes, and of course, the ever-popular Team Elsa! ❄️⚽

There was lots of excitement, cheering, teamwork and friendly competition as the children played against each other, developing their communication, turn-taking and problem-solving skills while having fun!!

🦁🦓 Zoo Trip – Day 3! 🦒☀️
We had lots of fun on our final day at the zoo, and were delighted to finally enjoy some sunshine too!

The children experienced some very special moments today, including watching the lions being fed and seeing a rhino being carefully transported to another zoo. 🦁🦏

After such a busy and exciting trip, we think there will be lots of early nights and well-deserved sleep 💤

We have made some amazing memories and can't wait for our next adventure together. 🌟

🦁🐘🌿 Zoo Trip – Day 2! 🦓🦏🐒

Day 2 at the zoo was another fantastic adventure! ☀️🚌 The weather was slightly kinder to us today, although we certainly made up for it with lots more walking, exploring, and discovering all the amazing animals.
The children were excited to see some incredible animals, including rhinos 🦏, lions 🦁, and zebras 🦓
We stopped for lunch 🍎🥪 and enjoyed lots of chatter, laughter, and opportunities to build friendships and strengthen relationships with one another. 💬😊

We can't wait to see what exciting adventures Day 3 has in store! 🌟🐵🦒🐘

🦁🐒🐘 Nursery Zoo Trip – Day 1! 🐘🐒🦁
What an exciting first day of our zoo adventure! The weather certainly tested us, but we didn’t let the rain stop the fun. We got completely soaked, splashed through plenty of puddles, and made lots of wonderful memories along the way! ☔💦

We enjoyed seeing lots of amazing animals, including goats, pigs, elephants and, of course, the beautiful flamingos! 🐐🐷🐘🦩

The flamingos were a particular favourite, and the children had great fun practising standing on one leg just like them! 🦩✨
There was plenty of laughter as everyone gave it their best try.

We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! 🌟

🌞 With the hot weather today, please can all parents ensure their child comes to nursery with a sun hat and that sun cream is applied before arrival.

Please also make sure your child has a named bottle of water with them.
