Sometimes I pause in the middle of a busy day and realise something huge:
Families trust us with the weight of their child’s whole world🌎
Their worries.
Their big feelings.
Their imaginations.
Their friendships.
Their growing confidence.
Their tiny triumphs and tiny heartbreaks. 💗

We are trusted with the moments that shape who they are becoming — not just their learning, but their lived experience of childhood.
And that is not a small thing.
It’s sacred.
It’s heavy in the gentlest way. 🫶🏻

It’s a privilege that still catches me off guard sometimes…. Because when a child runs to show me a leaf they’ve found, looks at me for reassurance before trying something brave, or even spontaneously turn and tell me how much they love me when we are rolling play dough…
I’m reminded that this role is so much more than a job. 🥹

We are holding their world while they learn how to hold it themselves. 
And that is the most beautiful responsibility I could imagine. 🌈🫶🏻❤️

COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM! ❤️

We are looking for a new member to join our Auntie Winnie’s Family for maternity cover (with the potential of a permanent 1 day a week work after that maternity cover has ended).

We are a family run business, based in Eaton Bray, that prides ourselves on our “Outstanding” grading from Ofsted, and on the fact the children’s happiness and wellbeing is at the heart of our setting.
We may not all be family by blood, but we are by choice.

We are looking for:

• Cover from early May 2026
Tuesday’s 9am - 1pm
Wednesday’s 9am - 5.15pm
Friday’s 9am - 5.15pm

• Self employed basis (we can help you set this up if this is new to you)

• Someone with a love for children, who can help us nurture our little ones. Help the children learn through play, set up fun activities, supervise and care for the children in every aspect. (All of which you will be fully trained on prior to starting).

• A willingness to be part of the team and work hard.

• Someone who can build a good working relationship with our children’s parents.

• Have a very basic knowledge of technology to be able to upload basic information to our childcare app.

• Willing to have a DBS check carried out and be signed up as a childminding assistant with Ofsted. (All of which we will complete for you).

We are very fussy (proudly so) on who joins our Auntie Winnie’s family but we are excited to be able to put this advertisement out and see if we can find the perfect fit.
