Every family has an important part to play in building safe, thriving and well-connected communities. Fathers, in particular, stand as key pillars in nurturing stability, positive values and meaningful social integration.
While some men understand and embrace their role as shepherds, leaders and examples within their homes, many families and communities continue to feel the impact when this responsibility is not fully taken up. Where young men are not guided to become faithful, industrious, caring, ambitious, visionary and hardworking, the effects can be seen in growing social unrest, insecurity, low productivity and disharmony within our local communities.
Yet, there are still men who have chosen to lead with love, strength, integrity and diligence, making a positive difference in the lives of their children and in the lives of other young people who look up to them.
This Sunday at 10:00am, we will be celebrating these men, along with those who are striving each day to become better fathers, role models and leaders.
Please join us at DC Dunstable as we honour our fathers and recognise the vital role they play in our families and communities.
