Black History Month - Honouring Our Communities

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome a special guest, Robert Bent, to our assembly! He is a television personality who inspired our children to dream big, believe in themselves and celebrate the differences that make each of us unique.

A huge thank you to Mrs Lowe for organising such a wonderful and inspiring experience for our children.

Today, we supproted World Mental Health Day and celebrated 10 years of YoungMinds’ Hello Yellow campaign!

We encouraged all children and adults to wear something yellow, to show that mental health matters and remind our young people that they are never alone.

⚽ Another great week of football at TVA! ⚽

Our teams enjoyed some fantastic results last week, with plenty to celebrate!

🌟 Year 3 & 4 Boys and Girls
Both our boys' and girls' teams went undefeated throughout their festival games! A fantastic achievement and a real glimpse of some stars for the future.

🌟 Year 5 & 6 Girls – EFL Cup
Our girls competed in the EFL Cup and came away with a fantastic victory on penalties!
There were some brilliant saves from both goalkeepers, along with a resilient performance from the whole team. The girls now join our Year 5 & 6 Boys in qualifying through to the next round later in the year!

A huge well done to all of our pupils who represented TVA with such pride.

We’re so excited to share this welcoming and calming environment with our children, to give individuals a space to regulate, reset, explore and feel supported when they need it.

A huge thank you to Mrs Howarth for all the hard work and thought that went into making this happen.

Well done on receiving the ‘Best School’ commendation at yesterday’s Dunstable in Bloom awards ceremony, recognising the wonderful work the group have done in growing and maintaining blooms across our school. A fantastic achievement and one to be very proud of! 🌼
