Our brilliant Year 2 students have been busy mastering the running stitch this week! From threading needles to tying knots, they showed incredible focus, patience and fine motor skills.

🌱 This week, Nursery started our growing journey! We are officially trying our hand at being pea farmers. 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

The children learned exactly what seeds need to grow and are already counting down to a very green snack time! 🫛✨

Nursery visited the pond today with our minibeast ID sheets 🐞🕷️🐝 We spotted a few bees, a spider, a ladybird and even a newt in the pond! We can’t wait until we see our first frog 🐸💚

Tiny scientists at work! 🕵️‍♀️🐞

Buttercup and Bluebell took to the garden for some serious bug hunting today. They put their observation skills to the test, identifying every critter they spotted and marking them off their recording sheets! 📝

Year 4 have been working incredibly hard on a computing project using Canva, designing digital posters linked to this term’s WOW topic, Breaking Barriers.

The children connected their designs to the five protected characteristics we have been exploring alongside their curriculum learning, showing thoughtful understanding and creativity throughout.

It has been wonderful to see them using their digital literacy skills to promote kindness, equality and inclusion. We are so proud of their hard work and the important messages they are sharing! 🌟💻

This week’s topic in Reception is creatures that live in Arctic conditions 🐋❄️

Today we measured the length of a Finback whale - an incredible 27 metres long! We also discovered that it can swim as fast as a car 🚗🌊

🗳️We’ve been learning all about the Prime Minister and how democracy works. Today, the children put their knowledge into action by holding our very own Year 1 Election! From campaigning to the ballot box, our mini-voters had their say on some important school changes. 🇬🇧

Our young learners were absolutely captivated and showed such curiosity. We had some brilliant big thinkers in the room asking fantastic questions.
