So much enjoyment had in a sensory room, the children were stimulated and relaxed all at the same time, discovering how things felt, moving items from one place to another just to see how they changed. Then just lying still and taking in the sounds and sights around them.

Using tools and imagination to build

We were building a “big big” train track (as per requested) and when I got the builder’s vehicles out with the train set, the digger then became the main way of transport for the track to be put in place. Yes it took a little longer for it to be finished but it was definitely more fun for both me and the children.
