Teach Me Happy KS2, KS3, KS4 Alternative Provision based in York. Horse Riding also available privately at our farm site.

We are a primary specialised Alternative Provision offering academic and holistic education and wellbeing to children from KS2 upwards. Our provision employs only fully qualified teachers and teaching assistants who have expertise and passion in delivering quality education to children with SEND and/or SEMH. With a full KS2 curriculum offering on a multi-site premises which also offers children th

e opportunity of studying ASDAN qualifications in animal care (horses), cookery, arts and crafts and life skills. We offer the ASDAN Lift Off qualifications and transitional help for children struggling with the transition from Y6 to Y7. Our aim is to help children back into mainstream education, building resilience and finding coping strategies whilst helping to identify gaps and barriers to learning. Thank you again to our volunteers today who helped maintain the crazy grape vine, plant some beetroot, trim back the pumpkin plant, check if the corn is ready to eat and do lots of watering! 🍇🌽🎃

📣Summer on the plot!📣

We are offering all of TMH and Lord Gowthorpe’s pupils the opportunity to take part in various activities at our allotment. This will run every Tuesday morning over summer.

If gardening is not your thing, that’s not a problem. Feel free to come down for a chat, a catch up, a game or just to spend some time outdoors!

Due to parking restrictions on the site we are only running individual sessions through the morning. To register your interest please email [email protected] and state what dates you are available. Depending on interest your child may not be able to have a session every week.

This is completely free all we ask is that you wear appropriate clothing/footwear and that a parent/carer stays for the session. Gloves, refreshments and hand washing facilities will be provided. 🪏🌱🥬
