Lose more weight. Get a little leaner. Keep going until you reach a certain look.
I kinda think the fitness industry has got it wrong.
After years of working with hundreds of women, one thing I’ve learned is that most women don’t actually want to spend their lives trying to get leaner.
They want to feel strong, confident and comfortable in their own skin.
They want to enjoy food without the guilt, feel good in their clothes without obsessing over the size they’re wearing, and look after themselves without it feeling like another thing they’re constantly failing at.
They want to feel proud of what their bodies can do and make time for their health without it consuming their lives.
And sometimes we loose sight of that in an industry thats so heavily focused on aesthetics.
AT EMPOWERED, we’ll always support our women in working towards whatever goals are important to them (as long as it isnt risking their physical or mental health). But we also believe theres something much bigger than changing how your body looks.
And thats building trust in yourself. Learning to speak to yourself differently. Finding confidence in what your body can do. Creating habits that support you, not consume you.
Because you can lose the weight and still never feel lean enough. You can change how you look without ever changing how you feel about yourself.
The goal isnt spending your life trying to become a version of yourself that you finally feel good enough to be.
Its to build a relationship with yourself where you already recognise your worth, whilst still allowing yourself to grow.
And that’s a very different kind of fitness journey. We do things differently here 💜
