🌻 Watching Our Sunflowers Grow! 🌻
A few weeks ago, the children had lots of fun planting their own sunflower seeds. Before we planted them, we talked about what plants need to grow, including sunshine, water, and time. The children carefully planted their seeds and have enjoyed helping to water them every day.
Since then, we have loved watching the changes week by week. The children have been so excited to see their tiny seeds grow into tall, healthy sunflowers! It’s been a wonderful opportunity to learn about the life cycle of a plant, practise caring for living things, and develop patience as we waited for them to grow.
Hands-on activities like this encourage curiosity about the natural world while supporting communication, understanding of the world, and responsibility.
We can’t wait to see how much taller they grow and whether we get to enjoy their beautiful flowers soon! 🌻
