Appreciation Post 🥰🎶🎹
A huge thank you to the McGinley School of Music & Drama for all your kindness and support over these last few years.

For the last 7/8ish years, this lovely family has taken me under their wing and shown me great support and warmth.

I started teaching in the McGinley school of Drama and Music in my 2nd year of University and was so grateful to have the opportunity, especially so close to my place of study! Thank you Ruth for setting up the opportunity so many years ago when I was a nervous student who just wanted to pursue music 💕

This job taught me so much and supported me through my music studies across the road in Ulster University. But now, I sadly close this chapter in my life to start working full time in my studio based in Dungiven.

I never thought I could fully support myself in my little home village but the community have shown me otherwise. Music and the arts are vital and bring such happiness to everyday life.

It was so hard to say goodbye to all my students who have been with me for so long, you all made my job so much fun 🎶🎹

I want to give a big shout out to the McGinley family, in particular Ray & Michael for your Guidance, friendship and stories each week. Congratulations on your book launch this year! 🥰 👏🏻

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for our first music pop-up in Dungiven Library!

We know that community music is truly special. Local musicians bring out local support, creating opportunities to bring people together, reduce social isolation, encourage community spirit and celebrate local people and traditions.

Great craic taking a music session at the Oakleaf Lions Summer Camp!

Rhythm, movement and lots of laughter! 😆 Great to be back with the Oakleaf Lions, trying out lots of different activities from team races to the LOUDEST bucket drumming I've ever experienced! 🤯🙌🏻
