Congratulations to all of our A-Level students who received their results today. All the hard work that was put in has well and truly paid off. Soo the tutors with Maths Tutor NI are astonished and amazed with the effort each of you have put in and we wish you all the best with your future pathways whether that is University, Apprenticeship, Employment or Further education. Well done 👏🏻

I would just like to thank all the tutors and students for their unbelievable hard work and effort put in during this academic year.

It was not easy for anyone.

Can I extend a massive thank you to the families of our students who, were so supportive during all of the restriction changes and helping accommodate for any changes needed to be made.

I am incredible proud of our team and wish everyone the best with results days.

Settling into this crazy new world, all tutors have decided that all lessons will be online moving forward. With online learning the engagement time will be different to control, so we decided that 30-45 minutes will be the maximum length we will offer per session, to ensure the student/s do not become agitated.
Days are limited due to working hours, so we are putting together a calendar and hopefully we can support anyone who needs it. Please bare with us the new school experience is a little different this year.

Hi All,

Our Maths Tutors are taking the month of September off to get back into their school routines and organise their evening availability.

We have all been extremely busy during Lockdown and supporting with home learning as well as offering the transition work to the next key stage.

However, we will have a new system set up for October and this will be noted in the next coming weeks when all tutors agree.

Social Distancing will still be a present factor, so all our lessons will be online for the entire academic year - this is for the safety of our tutors and pupils.

We would like to extend a “Good Luck” to everyone starting back at school and to our past pupils who are starting new adventures.

With everyone going back to the “kitchen” school on Monday, have a look at BBC Bitesize for ideas to fill time. Schools are providing work, but a an added extra for those kids that like an extra challenge.

I know everyone is trying to home school now. I have provided a home learning website.
White Rose Maths is providing 5 maths lessons each week, every lesson has a short video showing clearly how to help your child, a task to complete and answers to assess. follow the link below.
These are in line with England classes for NI use the year groups below
Early years - P1
Year 1 - P2
Year 2- P3 ... etc
So Year 7- (first year in secondary school)
Year 8- second year in secondary school.

I will look on providing advise for KS4 and 5.

If/when you are home-schooling/remotely/digitally educating your children, if you need assistance with understanding something that has been assigned for your child, or if you need more resources, just give us a shout.
