Hello September and hello flowers - we’re back, I’m back, the flowers are back - everything is back!
Almost a month away from flowering and it’s safe to say, I’m ready for the next season of Tobi + Ro 🫶🏼
I thought now would be a time for a little reintroduction… I’m Emma (the Ro in this party, it’s my nickname/I like to confuse people 😝) I’m the doer of all the things here, I buy the flowers, condition the flowers, make the flowers, deliver the flowers, sing to them… I do it all basically.
Some random things you might not know about me:
- I must have 2 cups of tea before I can have a coffee.
- I didn’t plan to be a florist. I made some Christmas wreaths 8 years ago and never stopped.
- I’m a pretty safe person, I’m not a risk taker - usually, flowers were the exception.
- I spent my entire student loan on holidays, very little has changed.
- I need to have a full fridge. A sparse fridge makes me uneasy and my children whine.
- I have 5 kids, they range in age from 4 to 19. I don’t love the whole ‘your kids grow up and don’t need you so much’ jazz, that bit hurts my heart.
- Flowers bring me so much peace, even on the days when I’ve a whole wedding to make including 8 maids and 35 pew ends. < future couples, don’t do that, plz.
- I’m just over 5ft but am deadly up a ladder.
- I overthink everything, especially posts like this…
