Gross motor skills are those which require whole-body movement and which involve the large muscles of the body to perform everyday functions, such as standing and walking, running and jumping, and sitting upright at the table.

Jumping is a motor developmental milestone that requires balance and strength with the awareness of the body and motor planning.

If your child is 3 - 5 years old, they are now eligible for 1140 of free early education and childcare per year here at Daisychain Children's Nursery 💖

For those that need additional support with their childcare, we are proud to now offer the following funding options for families, with no deposit required and additional top-up sessions available:

- 30 hours per week over 38 weeks
- 22 hours per week over 50 weeks

Bugs are really important in nature to control pests, pollinate flowers and keep our gardens and parks looking healthy. 🐞🪱🐛🪲

Why not give our little friends a helping hand by making them a hotel, a really interesting and appealing place to stay and be happy. Making a bug hotel is a really fun activity that anyone can get involved in; from foraging for materials to planning your construction, and you don't even need a big space.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable!

✅Minimum 2-years experience of working with young children
✅Level 3 qualified
✅Knowledge of current early years documentation and practise guidance
✅Excellent communication skills
✅Strong organisational and time-management skills
✅The ability to understand and adhere to policies and practices of the business
✅An Enhanced DBS check!
