One of our homes, St. Theresa's, recently held a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for the charity. Our Young Person baked a range of delicious treats including their signature banana bread - but to make sure everyone could enjoy the sweet treats, they even thoughtfully prepared some cakes suitable for diabetics!

St. Theresa's also welcomed colleagues from Broadoak and Garton's to enjoy the coffee and cake, giving the homes a great opportunity to catch up and spend some time together.

We're so proud of our Young Person's hard work and kindness in making all of the goodies - not to mention the whole team's dedication to making the event such a success. How can we help a young person feel part of school when attending in person is difficult?

We are proud to launch Pebbles Connect, our online school for young people studying at Key Stages 3 and 4 who need a different way to access education.

We support learners facing mental health challenges, anxiety, special educational needs and disabilities, medical needs, exclusion or other barriers to attendance. We believe every young person deserves meaningful, high-quality education and a school community where they feel they belong.

Our small-group teaching and personalised support give young people space to build confidence and make achievable progress. We listen to their views and shape learning around their needs, with curriculum pathways that include Functional Skills, GCSEs, and ASDAN certifications.

Our flexible provision can support learning at home or within an educational setting, full-time, part-time or alongside school attendance. Short-term and longer-term placements are available, with or without an Education, Health and Care Plan.

We work with schools, local authorities, care settings, families and professionals to provide timely support, maintain learning and school connections, and support reintegration where appropriate.

Recently, we celebrated a young person's 15th birthday at Gartons House, and they described it as "the best birthday ever". The young person and their team were joined by young people and colleagues from some of our other Pebbles homes, as well as the young person’s social worker. We are so glad they had a great day!

As part of our Wider Achievement curriculum, some of our pupils have been enjoying their weekly guitar lessons. In the classes, our young people have been learning to read music and practise chords, helping them to play some of their favourite songs. We love watching them grow in confidence as they take on new challenges - and they sound great!

We are delighted to share some wonderful feedback from the parent of one of our young people. Receiving comments like this is incredibly meaningful, and it's always encouraging to hear when parents recognise our teams for their amazing work and dedication. Building trust and stability, and helping young people feel safe and confident, are at the heart of everything we do and it's so rewarding to know that this is being felt and appreciated.

Pebbles Academy Muirkirk recently underwent some renovation work, and we're sure you'll agree it looks great! The school now has a brand-new entrance, Staff Office, Nurture Room and Staff Base.

The Education Team and pupils worked very hard throughout the renovation to ensure learning still went ahead, even with the chaos of building work going on. Well done to everyone for your determination and collaboration!

We are celebrating another fantastic inspection result!

All our residential childcare provisions are regulated in line with the requirements of Ofsted (England) and the Care Inspectorate (Scotland), helping us maintain high standards of care across all our homes. One of our Scottish homes has once again achieved an excellent Grade 6 care inspection rating recently, and we couldn't be prouder of the team and young people, as well as all of the teams across our homes who strive to achieve these amazing results.

Recently, one of our young people travelled abroad for the first time to Paris, enjoying an exciting few days of sport with their netball team. When on the trip, they met a lot of new people from different countries and had a lot of amazing, memorable experiences, including a visit to Disneyland and attending a special awards ceremony.

Experiences like these not only help our young people build confidence, but it also helps them develop new skills and broaden their horizons, and we're delighted they had such a fantastic time!
