Have you booked in yet? This lovely park is so close to Cleppie! Support the library, help keep this lovely space clean, and learn all about the birds in Baxter Park. You might even be able to pop in to the lovely cafe just near the playground. We were going to be there but unfortunately we have a long-standing commitment on the same day. But we will be able to enjoy the lovely litter-free grounds when we go to Baxter Park junior parkrun the following day. Thank you in advance for all the hard work that the Saturday volunteers will put in! You guys are absolute ⭐ ⭐️ 🌟 legends 😃
Join the GreenWave Project at Baxter Park!
As part of the GreenWave Project, supported by the Scottish Government Public Library Improvement Fund, we’re inviting you to enjoy a fun and meaningful hour in nature.
What’s happening?
Come along for a relaxed session of bird watching and litter picking in beautiful Baxter Park. Our staff will show you how to use the free Merlin Bird App to help identify local birds, while we work together to care for one of our greenspaces.

When: We aim to run sessions on the 3rd Saturday of every month
Duration: 1 hour

Spaces are limited (due to the number of litter pickers available), so please book ahead.
If you have your own litter picker, you are welcome to come along and meet us there.
