🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️The World Cup excitement has kicked off at Kiddycare!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

The children’s growing interest in football has allowed us to provide lots of learning experiences with the World Cup beginning. We've been decorating our spaces, exploring countries from around the world through football-themed learning opportunities, and even running a fun friendly sweepstake to track and monitor the games together. Learning, teamwork and lots of fun are definitely on the scoresheet this summer.

As our children get ready to begin their exciting new chapter at primary school, we are so proud of how much they have grown and achieved during their time with us. Over the upcoming weeks, we will be focusing on activities and experiences linked to starting school to help build confidence, independence and excitement for this important transition. 🌟📚💛

✨Spaces Available at Kiddycare Day Nursery✨

We currently have limited spaces available for children aged 2–5 years, with government funding available from August 2026.

Our children have been incredibly busy exploring, creating, and learning through play. Recently they have been:

🌿Exploring nature and taking part in exciting bug hunts and investigating their findings.
🧱Using their imagination in our mud play area.
🌻Showing a huge interest in planting and learning how to care for living things.

⭐️Our two-year-olds are especially enjoying their dedicated space, with lots of opportunities for sand and water play, sensory exploration, and hands-on learning.

We continue to make changes and improvements to our learning environments to ensure every child experiences high-quality play and learning every day.

🎄 Spreading Christmas Cheer in Our Local Community 🎄

This Christmas, our nursery was delighted to take part in fundraising events to support our local community. The children had a wonderful time getting involved in festive activities while learning about kindness, sharing, and helping others. ✨

Our fundraising events included:

✨Christmas Jumper Day- funds donated to "Hilltown Community Food Larder"

✨Christmas Toy Appeal to support "Mission Christmas, Cash For Kids"

✨Care Packages for the elderly community- donated to "Teletek Tv Repair Shop"

✨ Funds and Christmas cards donated to Maxwell Centre to provide soup bags for the community

Since opening in Cowgate, Dundee in 1974, Kiddycare Day Nursery has been a trusted name in childcare and early education for generations of families in Dundee and the surrounding areas. After the sad passing of founder Mrs J Hyslop, we would like to let everyone know Kiddycare has now relocated to our newly refurbished premises, conveniently located just off the Hilltown, near the city centre.

We have limited spaces for the remainder of the term and spaces available from August 2025.
