And that’s a wrap on summer camps ☀️🎾🙌🏻

We’ve actually had the BEST time over the three weeks we ran for, and the kids have been absolutely amazing 🤩

We rounded things off with some work on serving, more Wipeout, lots of rallies, fun at the park with the boys making an impressive bridge in the sand, a pine cone from Louisa, friendships made, and the only flip side of three weeks of pretty much constant sun for our camps is possibly the worst trainer tan line I’ve ever had 🙄🫠 but a small price to pay, just no sandals for a few weeks 🤣

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who booked in, who interacted with and shared our summer availability, and to the kids who have given us a fabulous few weeks.
Thanks also to Kirrin who was there every day, and Zoe, Murray, Fraser and Lois who have given up their time to make everything run that bit smoother 🙏🏻 A special wee mention to Debs for organising and cooking on the barbecue each week too ☺️
I feel like I should also thank my pal Windy Wilson Weather and Road Reports for ordering the best weather for our camps 😉☀️🔥

Summer 2026 over and out - now onto our term-time classes starting soon 🥰🙌🏻

What. A. Day. ☀️🔥🎾😎

Scorchio for the penultimate day of summer camps 2026 where we worked on moving to the ball on both forehand and backhand sides 👏🏻 The kids did have to venture under the tree for a bit of shade!

Onto lunch for barbecue fun (thanks to Debs for organising again 🙏🏻), more fun at the park, and finishing off with ice lollies which were actually accompanied by a bit of rain - a welcome wee shower for most, but not Murray who sat in the car 🙄 and Lois who took cover under her hoodie 🤣

I also had a huge nosebleed when Murray and I headed to the Asda petrol station in Birkhill where I was kindly thrown almost a whole toilet roll from a lovely man in a van, so a huge thank you to him if he happens to stumble upon this post, and also thank you to quite a few customers who kindly made sure I was okay while it was pouring from me and Murray was in buying the lollies 🫠🤦🏼‍♀️

Looking forward to finishing the summer in style tomorrow 🤩

Another lovely, lovely day as we worked on movement to the forehand side, hitting those forehand ground strokes, and also featuring Wipeout, park life, ladybirds, whacking pesky wasps (Zoe has quite the talent for this 🤣) and also Millie the ladybird whisperer 🐞

Lots of great stuff on show today as well as good listening, but even more fun 🤩

Summer Camp Week 3, Day 1 🙌🏻

Into our final week of summer we go with brilliant weather again, as we eased into Monday with a quieter day, and looking forward to seeing more Buddies as the week goes on 🥰

Some super forehands on display, some teamwork with relays and wipeout, and of course some fun at the park at lunchtime 🎾☺️👏🏻☀️
