This page is for all of us who attended Ardler Primary School. Ardler Primary School opened on the 19th August 1968. The opening roll was 182 boys and 167 girls.
The head teacher was Alfred McLean who had transferred from Blackshade School. The Infant Mistress was Euphemia Robertson who had come from Rosebank School. The existing pupils from Blackshade transferred to Ardler and were joined by 68 new starts and older pupils from other Dundee schools. Total of 349. There were 11 classes
A joint official opening ceremony for Ardler and St.Fergus was held on
