Exercise with EllieD

Hi!
I had my first knee replacement two weeks ago today; recovery is going well. Most importantly, I am completing all my physio every day; five sets of exercises plus three walks a day. Getting stronger every day! Had a wound check today, and it's healing well!

I have had a bit of a rollercoaster since teaching my last class at the end of April...

My teacher insurance ran out yesterday, and I am scheduled my first bionic knee on Tuesday ( a misspent youth teaching Step in the 90's)

I really hope that my knees will heal well enough to return to class cover next year.

Hello folks
I'm supposed to be covering Body Balance at Olympia tonight; I am trying to get cover after last night's near fainting episode, but there is a chance the class might be cancelled.
I'm really sorry, you know how much I hate classes being cancelled.

Well, that was exciting... Teaching my final aqua classes for a while, became dizzy and faint and had to be looked after by the lifeguards.
THANK YOU to my lovely class members for noticing, for getting the lifeguards and for caring.
And THANK YOU to the lifeguards and DM for sorting me out. I'm sorry I had to cancel the second class.
I'll miss you all, I promise I'll be back to cover classes soon # # #

For anyone worried about tonight's aqua class, my lovely chum Naz is teaching. She's a very experienced aqua instructor and all round nice gal. You'll definitely have a good time!
