Next up for our 2024/25 committee is the secretary 💙💛

Abbie’s role this year is to plan the completions we attend and our travel arrangements for them. She will also be responsible for taking minutes at all of the meetings this year. 💙💛

Next up for our 2024/25 committee is .grahamm the treasurer 💙💛

Jodie’s role this year is to find the best sponsorships for the team, to organise all of the amazing fundraisers and to manage the money coming out and in of our team. 💙💛

Next up for our 2024/25 committee is .rejowska the recreational co-ord 💙💛

Julia’s main role is planning our Monday rec classes from 7-9pm. Including practising technique, stretching, strength, conditioning and learning dances of all styles which we will perform in the show happening later in the academic year!🥳

Rec is for all abilities of dance and everyone is welcome to come along, we hope to see some new faces next year 💙💛

Next up for the 2024/25 committee is the social secretary 💙💛

Shannon’s role is organising all of our socials throughout the year, including organising themes and pres for all the nights out!🥂Shannon is also hoping to plan a lot more sober socials this year with the health and wellbeing officer Robyn including; walks, dinner, ice cream trips and much more.

Next up for our 2024/25 committee is the health and wellbeing officer 💙💛

Robyn’s role is to support any members of the team who may be struggling in their personal life or have any concerns regarding the team. Robyn is hoping to run some support groups this year for people who may be struggling with eating disorders or someone who may be trying to support someone that is struggling with an ED. Robyn has already made an account talking about her struggles and her coping mechanisms in hope to help other people, I would encourage everyone to check it out 💙💛

First up is myself , I will be responsible for keeping everyone on socials up to date with what UADDT are up to this season and giving you all an insider of what we get up to 💙💛

This award is sponsored by our UADDT Alumni, and voted for by our Committee. This award goes to an individual that has been outstanding in every aspect for the team.

This year our spirit of UADDT recipient is Jade Swan !!

Jade has been on the team for 4 years and has shown amazing commitment to UADDT every year. She makes every effort to attend practices, socials and fundraisers and has gone above and beyond for the team in many ways over the years. Jade is a joy to be around and shows kindness, support and positivity to all members of the team and does so with a smile on her face always☺️

This year more than any jade has been an inspiration to us all, taking her new role of motherhood in her stride and continuing to be a part of our competition team with a newborn baby!! In August Jade had her beautiful little girl Lyla who we have been so honoured to welcome as a member of our UADDT family. Jade still competed and attended all practices and Lyla made the cutest wee mascot for us at comps🥺 Jade we are all so proud of you and we all love you and little Lyla beyond words, we can’t wait to watch your beautiful little girl grow up and hope that we can continue to be a part of her life for years to come❤️❤️

Some fantastic pics from the The University of Manchester Dance Society comp a few weekends ago! 💃

We had such an amazing time at our last comp of the season!

For our seniors, it was their last ever comp with us😭we are going to miss them all so much next year!

We even managed to place 3rd for our insane inter contemp routine out of 13 universities from all over the UK!!!🔥

We are so proud of all our dancers and we couldn’t have ended the comp season a better way!

On Wednesday 23 March our sports teams will face off against their Dundee Uni rivals in the first Varsity since 2019! More than 600 athletes from both institutions will go head-to-head and compete for the coveted Tay Varsity Challenge Trophy 🏆

All our girls absolutely killed it and we are so proud of them! We even managed to grab a couple more trophies!
