One of our customers is looking for a new home for his FlickForKicks tabletop, which has been enjoyed by father and sons over the years. Handcrafted FlickForKicks workmanship, still going strong and playing great!

Hey all! The World Cup in Tunbridge Wells last month was AMAAAAZING!! The English Subbuteo Association smashed it!!

Thanks to everyone that took the time to say hello over the weekend. If you popped by our little stall, I hope you grabbed a sticker, a wee flyer or a card. The Special Edition arenas are available to order in time for Dec 25th (not mentioning the 'C' word in October)! More info to follow.

🎊 HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! 2024 RE-OPENING...

Thank you so much for your support this year, one of the most difficult yet because of personal struggles. I'm just grateful that all of you, my family, and I are still here, and that I've had the fortune of connecting with lovely friends along the way.

My Dad Tom has been an absolute champion as ever, producing beautiful tables in all weather, and I've been working through illness the last few weeks to get Christmas orders out on time.

SSA SUBBUTEO OPEN DAY THANKS!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

🤝 A HUGE THANKS to everyone that came along to support the Scottish Subbuteo Association Open Day at the FlickForKicks studio last Sunday. Fun was had. Skills and tactics were shared, and some new faces introduced to the game.

⚽️ We trialled a made-up training game I called the "Full Pitch 5s ELIMINATOR" (name needs a bit of work 🤣) which had all abilities of player involved in a short competition, including my son 🥰 without the worry of being embarrassed by heavy defeats. Short frantic fun games while learning a few specific skills. Calling that a win!

✍️ Folk didn't know what to expect from the event, with it being the first one, and with the late organisation of it all (🙋‍♂️ Holding my hand up to that), so I really appreciated their patience, and hope you all got something from the day. Kept it simple for this first one, with lots of ideas to build on for next time!

🚗💨 Players joined local friends in Dundee, from as far as Edinburgh, Livingston and Stonehaven. The FlickForKicks studio is based in the Artantics Studios, which is part of the amazing ScrapAntics, a well known organisation in Dundee for all sorts of creative recycling, community and social justice projects, Loose Parts Play and so much more. There's also a super handy ScrapStore; a treasure trove of all of the things you didn't know you needed for your next project!

🙏 Mucho thanks to those who left donations to help cover the studio running costs, and a special thanks to Marco for donating and preparing all the food! Big hugs to the resident artists for use of the community space and for helping out on the day too.

SUBBUTEO MASTERCLASS AT THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL MUSEUM, ENGLAND

Weekly in August, as part of the 'Batteries Not Included' exhibition at the National Football Museum (Manchester, UK,) which on its own already sounds Aaaaace, the Subbuteo Association have teamed up to run a masterclass showing Subbuteo fans old and new how to play the game...!
