🌿RECRUITMENT🌿

We are now looking to recruit an Early Years Support Worker (aged 16-19 to be eligible for apprenticeship funding) to join our team.

Applicants must have a passion for the care of all children, be enthusiastic to learn and become knowledgeable in all aspects of early learning and childcare.

Support Workers will work toward gaining an SVQ Level 3 social services children and young people, this will support your knowledge and understanding of current curriculum documentation, you will learn how to demonstrate your knowledge and skills learned, through your practice.

This week we’re introducing Lindsay, one of our wonderful Early Years Practitioners based in Willows.

Lindsay has been part of the Parkview family for so long that we often joke she’s part of the furniture. But in all seriousness, her experience, knowledge and dedication make her an incredibly valued member of the team.

She loves supporting the children in Willows as they learn, explore and grow each day, creating fun and engaging experiences that help build confidence and curiosity. Lindsay’s warmth and compassion makes her a favourite between both the children & parents.

Each week, we’ll be spotlighting different members of our wonderful nursery team so you can get to know the dedicated people who make our setting such a special place.
We believe strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and this is a great way for our families and wider community to learn more about the passionate professionals who care for and support our children every day.

💜At our nursery, keeping children safe, happy and well cared for is always our priority. We follow the Care Inspectorate’s SIMOA approach (Safety, Inspect, Monitor, Observe, Act), which supports our team to stay alert, notice any potential risks and take the right action to protect and support every child.

To help make this meaningful and engaging for the children, we’ve introduced our special elephant mascot 🐘
Our elephant helps us talk about health and safety in a simple, reassuring way — using our eyes to notice, our ears to listen and our actions to help.
💜The elephant will also join the children on outings and adventures, modelling safe behaviours and encouraging discussions about looking after ourselves, each other and the world around us. Through this, we will gently introduce themes such as conservation and caring for our environment.

By bringing SIMOA into our everyday practice in a child-friendly way, we are supporting children’s growing understanding of health, safety and responsibility, helping them feel confident, secure and involved in how we keep them safe. 🐘💜

💕Love is truly at the heart of everything we do 💕

Our Valentine’s photoshoots captured more than just sweet smiles and adorable outfits — they captured the beautiful bond between our practitioners and the children. Every cuddle, every giggle, and every reassuring hand shows the trust and warmth we build each day.

We are so grateful to be part of these little love stories, watching our children grow in confidence, happiness, and security surrounded by care that comes straight from the heart ❤️✨
