Time to ‘winterise’ your rucksack!
With the clocks going back this weekend, daylight will fade fast - so now’s the time to check your winter kit. Make sure you’ve got the essentials: map and compass, extra warm layers, gloves, hat, emergency shelter, and a good headtorch with spare batteries etc.
For instructors and hillwalkers alike, good preparation and sound judgement are key to staying safe on the hills.
