What a great day with our krav juniors grading, they all worked really hard, and we're super proud of their effort, resilience and determination to step up and demonstrate their learning of their Krav Maga Self Defence!

Krav Junior Broughty Ferry ran another krav maga self defence session for Forthill Out of School Club nursery/pre-school kids, nearly 30 of them ๐ณ๐ last week, they all did amazing and had loads of fun! ๐๐
We did a wee obstacle warmup and looked at 3 techniques -
*blocks against being hit,
*defences against being grabbed,
*how to get someone off you, when you're pinned down on the ground
*and of course lots of shouting using their voices against attackers, which they didn't need much encouragement for... ๐๐
*we also spoke about safe places and people to help them ๐
Krav maga originated from street defence and military, but even as young as 3/4 years old, learning to stand up for yourself is a vital life skill as they develop and progress into more social and peer group environments.
Our Krav Junior programme has been running throughout Scotland since 2014, it has helped hundreds of kids through our doors and seen them grow into strong confident young adults ๐๐
