We're getting crafty with kids in Strathmartine this summer! Every Monday at Ardler Library and every Tuesday at Kirkton Library - no need to book. All sessions are suitable for ages 4+. Thousands of £1 swim passes are being rolled out to Dundee pupils ahead of the summer holidays 🏊

Through the 2026 Summer of Sport initiative, every child aged 0–17 living in Dundee can swim at any city pool for just £1 per session.

This is part of a wider programme of free and low-cost opportunities delivered with Dundee City Council, Active Dundee, Dundee Active Schools and supported by Sportscotland and The Scottish Government

Scotland’s national music prize, the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award has opened entries for 2026, which marks its 15th anniversary. Set to return to Dundee for the second year in a row, The SAY Award invites artists, industry professionals and fans alike to submit eligible albums for free, to be in with a chance of winning the ultimate £20,000 prize.

New exhibition at The McManus asks Dundonians to submit objects which tell stories of great nights out in the City

Share your objects of Dundee nights out to be part of our next exhibition!

We are excited to announce news of a brand new exhibition coming later this year. Dundee Nights will celebrate the city after dark, exploring how generations of Dundonians have come together to socialise, celebrate and be entertained.

BUT we need your help...

To bring these stories to life, the team is looking for objects linked to nights out in the city. Do you have a ticket stub, band t-shirt, photo, keepsake or unusual item linked to a memorable night out in Dundee? We’d love to hear from you!
