👙 Don’t bin it - Bra Bank it! ♻️

Got clean, good-quality bras you no longer wear? Give them a second life by donating them to our Bra Bank! It's located in the DASA Space on the Arbroath campus, but donations can be made to all DASA offices.

Your unwanted bras can be reused rather than going to landfill, helping to reduce textile waste and support a more sustainable future. 🌍 Bras that are suitable for reuse are sorted and redistributed to communities where affordable bras can be difficult to access, while those that can’t be reused are diverted from landfill for energy recovery.

And there’s an added benefit right here in our local community. Your donations help raise funds for Arbroath Connections, a local community centre supporting families and people living with dementia. 💜

So, by having a clear-out, you can make a difference to the planet and to people in our community.

Donate your bras. Reduce waste. Support Arbroath Connections. Make a difference - one bra at a time. 🫶

🎯 Nerf battles, new faces and plenty of Freshers fun!

We had a brilliant time kicking-off the new semester in style; meeting, chatting and having a blast with students across all three campuses. It was fantastic to see so many new and returning students getting involved, finding out more about what we offer, and making the most of the Freshers experience! 🙌

Our 🆕 Nerf range was a particular favourite, proving hugely popular throughout the event and bringing plenty of fun and friendly competition! 💪

A massive thanks to everyone who came along, stopped for a chat and helped make Freshers such a success. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again throughout the year! 💙💜

🌟 Celebration takes centre stage at Dundee and Angus College! 🏆

Last Thursday, we rounded off the semester at the College's annual Staff Awards, recognising the dedication, passion, and hard work of staff who go above and beyond for our students, one another, and the wider college community.

A special congratulations to our Student President, Connor, who received the Special Award from the Executive Team for his contribution to the College's sector funding campaign! 💙💜

We were also delighted to present our Student-Led Staff Awards once again. A huge thank you to every student who got involved – from submitting an incredible 650+ nominations, to casting votes for this year's winners.

Congratulations to all of our nominees and winners, and thank you to every member of staff for the difference you make every day. Your commitment helps create the best possible experience for our students. 👏✨

What a great way to round off the end of term! 🏆

Yesterday's Staff Awards was all about celebrating the amazing colleagues who bring our values of innovation, inspiration, trust, respect and success to life every single day. 💜🩵

With nominations from students, staff and our executive team, there were so many well-deserved moments.

Throw in a fantastic performance from our College Band, plenty of tea and cake, and lots of laughter, and it made for a brilliant afternoon!

A huge congratulations to all our nominees and winners, and thank you to every member of staff for everything you do. 👏
