Our Emails Are Back Up and Running

We are pleased to let our families know that our nursery email service is now fully operational following a technical issue with our server.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while this was being resolved.

You can now contact us by email as normal. If you have emailed us over the past few days and haven’t received a response, please feel free to resend your message.

The Balgillo email is currently down due to an issue with the server.

Until this is resolved, if you need to contact the nursery, please telephone the nursery directly or send us a message through Famly.

We are working to get the email service back up and running as soon as possible and will let you know once it is available again

We are delighted to be working with Lucy from Aire Studio, who will be helping us share more of what happens across Balgillo Nurseries via social media

Being much more at home in a nursery setting than in front of a camera, we are grateful that Lucy can guide us and knows exactly what she is doing.

Lucy already has some lovely ideas for showing you the people, play set-up and everyday moments that make Balgillo special.

Please be assured that no children will feature on the public social media pages for obvious reasons, and especially in this day and age, when images can be misused.

We are looking forward to sharing more with you, and I will try my best to keep up! 🦖

🔨 Torridon Road ; we are finally ready for the Next Chapter! 🐻

The clear-out is officially complete! And when I say clear-out, I really mean it. 😅

There has been a lot of tears and many long hours invested by me, my family and some very good friends who have helped strip Torridon Road right back and get the building ready for what comes next. I honestly couldn’t have done it without them and appreciate their support.

After everything that has happened since the fire, reaching this point feels like a real milestone.

And now for the exciting bit… refurbishment officially begins on 12th October! 🔨✨

The building might look bare just now, but we can already anticipate what it is going to become . The aim is a modern spin on our traditional nursery with fresh, calm and inspiring approach that we can all be proud of.

I will continue to share the transformation as it happens.

🧸 The clear-out has begun at Torridon Road.
It might not look like progress just yet, but this is where our journey back begins.

After being closed since the fire next door in April, the clear-out of Balgillo Nursery, Torridon Road is now underway.

As these photographs show, there is quite a bit to do! 17+ Years of nursery life are being cleared away and the damaged areas stripped back, ready for the next stage of the reinstatement.

It is very sad seeing our nursery looking so empty but we’re choosing to look at it as a blank canvas and an opportunity to create something really special for the future.

For now, it’s all about clearing out, stripping back and getting ready.

Hopefully, the next photographs we share will start to look a little more positive as the transformation begins.

I will keep sharing the journey with our families and community as Torridon Road comes back to life.
