Dundee Drum Academy

Dundee Drum Academy http://www.dundeedrumacademy.co.uk Chris Morris began playing drums in 2001, and has been teaching since 2007. Anyone can learn!

--ABOUT--

The aim of Dundee Drum Academy is to provide valuable and exciting drum lessons to absolutely anyone who is interested. He teaches a huge variety of ages - from just three years old, to learners in their fifties. Instrumental lessons can play a very important role in the development of children. Studies have shown that children who learn about music also excel in other subjects such as mathematics, sciences and languages. For adults, lessons can be just a bit of fun, or if they are more interested in becoming competent on the drum kit, Dundee Drum Academy can provide this too. Learning an instrument is an extremely valuable experience, and can open your eyes to a whole new perspective of music, and the music industry.

"Woo Hoo" by the 5.6.7.8s gives an excellent opportunity to play a drum solo that might look a little bit flashy but is easy to get started on. Having fun looking at this in lessons this week!

Leaving the building for the final time in 2025!

Thank you all for a great year. Many fun lessons, and loads of new faces. I'm ending the year with a personal milestone in that I'm on the supply list for instrumental instructors in Perth and Kinross. I hope 2025 has brought similar wins for you all.

Here's to an even better 2026. Dundee Drum Academy will be entering its 15th year 😯 I can't wait to share all the highs with you all.

Happy new year when it comes!
