3. Allah wants you to return – He does not just forgive; He loves those who repent and is greatly pleased when you turn back to Him.
4. Seeking forgiveness brings peace – Istighfar removes heaviness from your heart and draws you closer to Allah, not further away.
5. Never give up hope – your past does not define you; sincere repentance renews you and wipes the slate clean.
In short: Mistakes are human; returning to Allah is for the believer – and He is always ready to accept you.
“Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni, wa tub ‘alayya innaka Antat-Tawwaabur-Raheem.”
“O Allah, You are the Pardoner, You love forgiveness, so forgive me. Accept my repentance, for You are the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful.”
