Ryan Kelly 🤜🏽

We’re proud to introduce one of our dedicated coaches here at Gracie Barra Dundee, assistant head coach Ryan Kelly.

Ryan has been training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 9 and a half years, earning his brown belt under Darren Clark and Valentine Duke. His experience on the mats, both in competition and coaching, brings a high level of knowledge and professionalism to every class.

As a full time grappling coach and strength & conditioning coach, Ryan takes a well rounded approach to developing athletes, helping members improve not just their technique, but their performance, resilience, and confidence on and off the mats.

For Ryan, coaching isn’t just a job, it’s his passion. He’s committed to helping every student grow, whether you’re stepping onto the mats for the first time or pushing towards competition.

Another awesome Monday in the academy.

Monday is always our busiest class of the week with everyone keen to get off to a good start and then deciding from there what other classes they are gonna choose to finish off their training week 🤙

And with 36 hours of Jiu Jitsu available each week at Dundee academy there's always plenty classes to choose from 👌

Great also to stripe up some of the guys to get them now training at GB2 level from now on if they choose. At no extra cost since our full membership entitles you to as many classes as you want every week 🥋🔥🤙

What's up Team!

We've been contacted by this awesome Not for Profit organisation in Dundee who are organising their annual "Shoebox Appeal" to help less fortunate kids in Dundee this coming Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to do some serious donating for the next few weeks and make a real change to some lives in our City this Christmas. How could we ever say No to that eh.

We've additionally volunteered to be a drop off point for anyone in Dundee and surrounding areas to drop off any donations if none of the other drop off points are convenient.

I've included their page below and any questions or queries can be directed there or direct to us and we'll do our best to answer them all for you.

I'm looking forward to seeing what we as an academy can produce for the kids this Christmas! I'm sure it will be epic!

I personally never knew of this before today so I'm sure there may be lots of other generous people out there who would love to help such a worthwhile cause, but for that to happen, they need to know about it first!
