VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !
DRRC is looking for those who can do small repair jobs in the warehouse on different pieces of furniture and other items.
If you enjoy fixing things and have some spare time, please, contact us.
Once you fix an item, you can either bring it home or choose any other item you like in the warehouse.
It's about helping out and also encouraging people to recycle and reuse old items; buying new items benefits replication but not our planet π.

This is a great example what this place is about and what you can also create from an old piece. ππ
Alan has sent these photos to me the other day and I was amazed by it. He got these used bed spars from us from the previous warehouse on Dunsinane Avenue and created this wonderful base for a sun chair mattress.
This reminds me of the purpose of DRRC what Doug phrased years ago when he set up the charity.
"Dundee Resource & Reuse Centre is helping those in need through assisting in the provision of household goods with the object of improving the conditions of life.
Conserving and protecting the physical and natural environment by reducing waste, in particular through the promotion of sustainable waste management practices."
We can turn old and used things into gold with a little creation so we won't need buying new everytime therefore we can reduce waste and overproduction. π
Let's save the planet together ππ

Hi all,
DRRC has been around for a long time but arrived to a big milestone in 2021. It's going to be available online, here on Facebook so hopefully it'll reach many more people.
Let's start this page with a post which shows our first successful project with the help of a Facebook ad where many charities, schools, nurseries and those in need from the public sector came along early June and picked up different household items, toys etc helping us to empty that store on Dunsinane Avenue.
To our biggest joy, many things are being shipped to Africa with the help of a beautiful soul, called Marie.
This is how the virtual life of DRRC has started.
Thank you all and hope to see many of you again in the future.
