We’re delighted to share that we have been successful in securing funding through Perth and Kinross Council's Local Employability Partnership and The Scottish Government's No One Left Behind fund to deliver our Core Skills for Employability programme.

This means we are now offering fully funded places for parents across Perth & Kinross.

The programme is designed to support parents at different stages of their employability journey to build confidence, develop practical skills, and take positive next steps into training, support, or work.

Delivered online in small, supportive groups, the course focuses on communication, teamwork, problem-solving and confidence - through practical, hands-on activities grounded in real-world situations and employability-focused challenges.

We are now looking to connect with partners who support parents, as well as individuals who may benefit from taking part.

Yesterday, we spent the day on campus together and it was absolutely lush. Hard work but great fun 💪🏼

SDA have been running for 5 years now. It’s time to reflect and focus on what’s important.

We have been working with Change Frameworks to design our new strategy, our vision, mission and all the building blocks we need to continue doing what we do best; Service Design education, training and championing!

On Friday, we said a fond farewell to Chris Muir who is leaving Team SDA to take up the post of Service Design Manager with today!

Chris has been part of the Service Design Academy since joining the Test Cohort for the Professional Development Award in Service Design in 2017, taking up a Consultants post in 2018.

We'll miss EVERYTHING about Chris - his wicked sense of humour, his knowledge and enthusiasm and above all his passion for service design. There will be a great big Chris sized hole in our Team.
