π€ Evening RNLI Training Exercise β Wednesday at 19:00hrs
This Wednesday evening at 19:00hrs, volunteers from Broughty Ferry RNLI will be launching for a routine training exercise in the Tay Estuary.
Both the Trent class all-weather lifeboat and our D Class inshore lifeboat will be taking part as the crew practise coordinated manoeuvres, casualty approach drills, and working together effectively on the water. These exercises help keep our volunteer crew prepared for the wide range of callouts we may face.
If youβre out along the waterfront or enjoying an evening walk and happen to spot the lifeboats on the water, feel free to give us a wave β itβs always great to see the community supporting their local lifeboat crew.
Thank you for your continued support.

β οΈ STORM CHANDRA β SAFETY WARNING β οΈ
Storm Chandra has now arrived in Broughty Ferry, bringing very high tides, strong winds, and dangerous sea conditions.
π Please stay safe and keep well away from the seafront, harbour walls, and coastal paths. Large waves and sudden surges can occur without warning and pose a serious risk to life.
π« Do not take risks for photos or sightseeing
πΆ Avoid promenades and exposed coastal areas
π In an emergency at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard
Our volunteer crews are monitoring conditions closely. Your best way to support them is by staying safe and staying back.
Thank you for helping us keep our community safe π
