What a week! Our Holiday Club concluded yesterday, in style, with almost 80 crammed into the church including 13 families who had children attending the club during the week. The children headed outside to work round some activities revisiting our Daniel stories.

We are grateful to all who supported the club in any way and thank God for his tremendous generosity! We include one of our warm up songs incase you want to use it to praise with us!

Our Space Academy Holiday Club started today!

Praise God for the 28 children we welcomed this morning, their families, and the team of leaders and helpers! The children are learning about Daniel and how he stayed faithful to God in a strange land and how God kept him safe.

Please continue to pray for this outreach work within our town and the new children joining in throughout the week 🙏

Please pray for the Macleod family in one of our sister churches in Dunfermline.

Free Church Moderator, Rev Calum Iain Macleod, has shared this urgent prayer request:

I would like to reach out to our wider church family with an urgent prayer request for Caleb, a very sick little boy aged two who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (Neuroblastoma).

Caleb’s parents are Rev Andrew and Eilidh Macleod. Andrew (Mowgli) is minister of New City Church Dunfermline.

Some of you are already aware of Caleb’s circumstances following an earlier appeal for prayer from Rev Derek Lamont, a friend and colleague of Andrew.

Caleb is currently having chemotherapy and is receiving critical care at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Young People, Edinburgh.

Please pray for Caleb and encourage others to prayer. Pray for effective medical intervention. Pray for recovery and healing. Pray for strength and resilience for Andrew and Eilidh, along with Isla, Caleb’s big sister, at this extremely difficult and anxious time for them all as a family. Pray that they will continue to know God’s near presence, his peace, and the embrace of his everlasting arms.

Please consider having a concentrated time of prayer for Caleb at your midweek prayer meeting and congregational prayer groups.

‘Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me.’ Psalm 27:7

🌷 Dear sisters! New season, new Bible study, new monthly routine!!

As the women look forward to starting a new theme at our monthly Woman's Bible Study, we are inviting any women who have never been before to consider coming along! We will be starting a study on why God’s Word alone, Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, and glory to God alone, are all essential for our journey with God.

If this is something you find intriguing and want to have a natter about over a cuppa, then please do come along on Monday 30th March at 10:30. You are most welcome! 🌷

"There is a story of a church who nearly split over a cracked window. These things happen sadly.

One of the stained glass windows behind the pulpit developed a huge crack. People began to speculate what had caused it.

"Surely it was the youth fellowship who were kicking a ball in the church."

"Surely it was the minister moving furniture around."

"Surely it was a lack of care from the church cleaning team."

Sides were taken. The Kirk session eventually investigated. They brought in a glazier who reported there was simply a flaw in the original glass and the heat and the cool caused the glass to crack.

That's all it was. But over a number of weeks that church had started to fall out over who had caused the crack.

Someone later commented, "It's not the cracked window that was the problem. It was the cracks that appeared in the unity in the church over a cracked window."

And that's the danger in Joshua chapter 22. A misunderstanding left unchecked threatens to fracture the people of God."
