We are looking for a new manager.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate nursery manger to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education-and childcare, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a small team of staff and ensure a nurturing environment for the children. The role requires effective communication and the ability to engage with children, parents and staff alike.

This is maternity cover starting in April until December.

This morning we ventured to Lochend Woods for a Nature Scavenger Hunt. Using a picture list we searched for the objects and placed some in a bag to take back to nursery. We used a pencil and marked on the paper what we could see. We all did very well and found them all except a Butterfly and a Bird. It was a great opportunity for the children to explore colours, shapes and sounds within the woods.
