We are absolutely delighted to have received our new Mud kitchen for our Blossom buddies. They will have so much fun and imaginative play, learning basic kitchen skills while improving their fine and gross motor skills. This was kindly donated by our local prison through their prison programme supporting and teaching individuals in learning life skills for when released. An amazing way to give something back to the community. So a huge Thankyou from all at Blossom buddies. ❤️

We have had such a lovely week celebrating and finished off with the Best day(Taylor swift). We started our day with our ‘If only ‘story that we all joined in with, we caught lots of bugs and we used our letters to spell out some words too. We explored some beautiful gardens to do our colour hunt, there was so much colour so was easy to find lovely items to put in our own little boxes. Kids had such fun running and chasing our big bubbles and all took turns making their own and did so well too. We finished off the day with some winning sports day toddler races and a well deserved dip in the paddling pool. I don’t think I need to say it but I will…….I love my job ❤️❤️

We joined our friends again today for our Teddy bears 🧸 picnic. Park play is one of the best kind of play! Lots of fun and challenges for all ages. We were experimenting with bubbles and had lots of not so good bubbles and then lots of big and little bubbles “they look like clouds” they said and even step inside bubbles. 🫧🫧🫧

Settling into a new Care setting can be difficult for some. Childminders are in a unique position to be able to provide a home from home setting, which supports the transition process for young children. We celebrated today or should I say this little guy celebrated with a sensory experience with lots of colours, textures and sounds indoors. Then we ventured outdoors for a lovely walk and nap taking in the smell and sounds of springtime and listening to the chatter and laughter in the school playground.

Today we joined lots of our lovely friends to visit our local fire 🔥 station. We had so much fun and we can all agree that the children had such an amazing up close and hands on experience. The children listened and spoke with the firefighters and asked lots of very important questions which builds them confidence with relations to our public services. They all got to be little firefighters today and maybe one day they will aspire to be one too. At home we’ve had a right blether about our emergency fire service and had lots of messy fun putting out fires in our firefighter tray. 🧯🚒🔥

Hooray 🙌 to all you amazing childminders out there!! We started celebrating our week with the opening of our new little garden with our Jack and the Beanstalks we have been growing indoors. Our wee garden is still awaiting to be officially named by the buddies. We are so very lucky to be surrounded by some beautiful beaches so we spent today rock climbing, searching for crabs, collecting lots of sea shells, drawing pictures in the sand and going wet and wild!
